Brian Stacey is the CEO of Decision Science LLC. He started building predictive models in 2005 focusing on Maintenance failures and Human Errors. He has worked at several startups building Data and Analytics teams and training and deploying predictive models.
Brian entered the consolidation lending space in 2017 at a Fintech focused on debt relief strategies. Starting with optimizing their existing direct mail targeting model, he quickly moved to building and deploying a next-generation model reliant on cutting-edge machine learning techniques. He led the effort to build the first (and second) in-house DM response models and took over running the marketing organization during this time.
During his years in that industry, he has built and deployed dozens of predictive machine learning models, including nine generations of direct mail targeting models. In 2020, he partnered with long-time colleague Stephen Yorke to form Decision Science to bring their direct mail targeting skills to a broader audience.
Decision Science offers debt consolidation, home equity, B2B lenders, and debt relief firms Direct Mail targeting services. The relationships built over the years in the industry allow Decision Science to help our clients onboard with a credit bureau (at a guaranteed data cost) and form service relationships with several different mail houses. We don’t sell a ‘list’ we sell a selection methodology built on machine learning and a deep understanding of the key drivers to the response. Our philosophy is that DM targeting firms should be open and honest about our capabilities so we strive to only sell what we can deliver.
